Thorin, King of Durin’s Folk, is a Red and White variant of the character who stands out. His first ability creates a treasure token when he or another dwarf you control enters. He also increases the power of your other dwarves for each artifact you control making him an interesting dwarf commander.
Another interesting card for dwarf, equipment, and saga decks is Fili and Kili, Joyous. This creature can be tapped to add two red mana that can only be spent on the three aforementioned spells. Next, Ori, Plate Stacker, is another dwarf that destroys all your opponents’ artifacts and enchantments when he enters.
Bilbo, Fellow Conspirator is a mono-green variant of The Hobbit’s protagonist who supports Food decks. Meanwhile, Bag End Banquet is an artifact that creates food tokens and generates colorless mana for each food you control.
Finally, Gandalf, Party Guest is a Blue, Red, and White legendary creature who works with legendary wizards. He lets you cast an instant or sorcery for free if its mana value is equal to or less than twice the legendary wizards you control. However, it only triggers at the beginning of your turn’s combat.
