The “Multiverse Reforged” ready-to-play preconstructed deck is the primary, standalone Commander deck released alongside the Reality Fracture Magic: The Gathering set. Released on October 2, 2026, this four-color deck centers on alternate “Echoverse” versions of iconic Magic legends (such as a mono-white Ob Nixilis and a mono-black Avacyn).
Deck Overview & Strategy
The strategy of the “Multiverse Reforged” deck revolves around a Polymorph-style mechanic coupled with reality manipulation:
- Step 1: Generate small, cheap creature tokens using deck components like Secure the Wastes or Dreadhorde Invasion.
- Step 2: Use reality-warping “Polymorph” effects to cheat massive threats onto the board ahead of schedule.
- Step 3: Casually swing with oversized, alternate-reality legendaries to overwhelm your opponents.
MTG Reality Fracture – The Commanders
The deck features two brand-new traditional foil borderless mythic commanders that you can swap between to lead the deck:
- Jace, Multiverse Architect: The face of the deck. His mechanics allow you to exile a creature or planeswalker, then flip through your library until you hit another creature or planeswalker to slam directly onto the battlefield.
- Nissa, Leyline Tamer: The secondary backup commander option who shares the deck’s overarching reality-warping and token synergy.
MTG Reality Fracture – Key Product Details
- Unique Lineup: Unlike traditional sets that launch with 2 to 4 precons, Reality Fracture only features one headliner Commander deck. (Note: Five standalone Foundations starter decks built around standard legends release at the same time, but they are unrelated to the Reality Fracture storyline).
- Exclusive Cards: It introduces 18 brand-new, never-before-seen Commander cards, which is a significant bump from the standard 10 new cards typically included in standard universe precons.
- What’s Inside: A 100-card deck, a deck box, 10 double-sided tokens, a strategy guide, and a life tracker reference card.
